Job Description:

- Identify the gaps, risks and problems in the architecture (System, HW/SW), and propose cost
effective realizable technical improvement proposals / countermeasures based on own expertise
and experiences and align and follow-up with Panasonic and customer experts and management
- Cascade safety requirements to the system, subsystem, and component levels in product portfolio.
- Lead, coordinate and support creation of functional safety documentation according ISO26262
- Coach team on best practice and create Functional Safety awareness across departments
- Prioritize and strongly follow-up the Functional Safety activities to ensure project maturity

Requirements (special skills, education, professional experience etc):
- Professional experience in Automotive Embedded Systems development and test for >10 years
- Detailed knowledge and proven experience with ISO 26262 for >6 years in automotive industry.
- Proven knowledge and certification in Functional Safety Theory, as e.g. AFSP, FSCP from TÜV
- Experience in Software Quality Process Automotive SPICE
- Experience with Products Development Life Cycle (Systems, Software)
- Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production
- Engineering degree and own experiences in System, HW/SW-development
- Experience in power electronics technologies (high voltage unit), e-mobility, charger advantage
- Experience with system engineering approaches (requirements engineering / management,
- functional analysis and allocation, architecture design, validation and verification)
- Familiar with automotive development and quality processes and tools (as e.g. FMEA/FTA methods/tools)
- The ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers, management and customers
